Who we are

Vayu Grids Pty Ltd is an early-stage energy and compute company based in Sydney, NSW, founded by Miswin Mahesh. You can contact us about privacy at hello@vayugrids.com.

What we collect

When you join the pilot list we collect your name, email address, postcode (optional) and whether you are interested as a compute buyer, a host, or a partner or investor. Our server also records the time of your sign-up and your IP address to help prevent spam.

Why we collect it

We use your details to contact you about the Vayu Grids pilot, to decide which suburbs and sites to start with, and, if you're a partner or investor, to follow up about partnerships and fundraising. We don't sell your details and we don't use them for unrelated marketing.

Where it's kept

Pilot-list details are stored on our web host's servers and in our email. We take reasonable steps to protect them from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and only the founder has access to them.

Sharing

We only share your details with service providers who help us run Vayu Grids (such as our web and email hosts), or where the law requires it. If we ever need to share them with anyone else, for example an installation partner for the pilot, we'll ask you first.

Access, correction and removal

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@vayugrids.com. You can also ask us to stop contacting you, and we will.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, email us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
